We are playing Mandala remotely with me setting up the game and handling the play for everyone.
Mandala is a new kind of hand management game (I would almost call it a trick-tacking game) that is only 2 player. The first game is surely a learning game, which is why we played 2 remotely – follow along in the video.
It seems simple at first, but there is quite some things to keep in mind – do I end the mandala quickly to end the game or do I push my luck and go for cards, which could score me more in the end – don’t wait to long or they might be gone.
It comes with a very practical playmat, which speeds up setup. It also protects the cards, which are quite thick and has a nice feel to them. Great production quality all around. The card holders are my own and don’t come with the game.
